Cornell forecasts that approximately 150 million birds fly over the USA in mid-April. During this period, the skies will be filled with various species of birds traveling to their seasonal destinations. Bird migration forecast maps show predicted nocturnal migration 3 hours after local sunset and are updated every 6 hours.
