Mic's journey with TAS began in 2013; now, he holds a seat on the prestigious Board of Directors. As our fearless Field Trip Coordinator, Mic's passion for our local area and its wildlife really shines through. This former military pilot continues to inspire young minds by teaching them how to soar through the skies like our beloved birds in annual summer camps. Not stopping there, Mic also imparts his knowledge and experience as a naturalist as a dedicated middle school teacher. He has been a stalwart in birding, leading captivating field trips, and capturing breathtaking moments through his photography with Tampa Audubon. Engaging in activities like Christmas Bird Counts and Nest Watch, Mic's commitment to conservation knows no bounds!
